How to create, edit, and delete a class in Partner Portal

In this article, you'll learn how to create, edit, and delete a class or appointment in Partner Portal.

How do I create a class/appointment?

To create a new class or appointment, follow these steps:

  1. Select "+ New Event": Click on "+ New Event" in the top right corner of your screen.

  2. Choose Event Type: Select the event type you want to create (free training or class).

  3. Fill in the Fields: Complete the necessary fields in the following sections:

  • General:

    • Enter the name/title of your class.

    • Specify the number of available spots.

    • The location will be generated automatically and cannot be changed.

    • Note: The instructor will not appear in the Urban Sports Club app yet.

  • Details:

    • Choose the sport category under which your class will be visible in the Urban Sports Club app (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, or Fitness). Be sure to select only sports categories that are part of your partnership agreement.

    • Add a description of your class so participants know what to expect and whether special equipment is needed.

    • The first profile picture will be used as the class image. You can adjust this in your location settings.

  • Schedule:

    • Specify when and how often your class will take place. Add additional time slots if the class occurs at different times.

    • Set the date, time, and recurrence interval (weekly or monthly).

    • For classes on two- or three-week cycles, use the recurrence interval settings.

    • Note: You can add as many time slots as you'd like by clicking "+ Add Time Slot".

  • Settings:

    • Set the free cancellation window, which by default is up to 12 hours before the class starts, though you can choose a shorter period.

Important! Save your class: After filling out all the required fields, don’t forget to save your class.

How do I edit a class/appointment?

You have two options for editing a class or appointment. You can either edit a single class/appointment or the entire event series.

  • Edit a single class/appointment:

    1. Select the class: Click on the specific class for the day you want to edit.

    2. Edit: Click on the blue "Options" button in the upper right corner and select "Edit".

    3. Make changes: You can modify the class name, assigned instructor (not shown in the app), available spots, and time. Members who have already booked will not be notified of time changes, so it's recommended to cancel and recreate the class.

    4. Save: Don’t forget to save your changes.

  • Edit an entire event series:

    1. Select the class: Follow the same steps to access the edit window.

    2. Edit event series: Click "Edit Event Series" at the bottom.

    3. Make changes: You can adjust all settings of the class, such as the schedule or class name.

    4. Save: Don’t forget to save your changes.

How do I cancel a class/appointment?

You have two options for canceling or deleting a class/appointment. You can either cancel a single class/appointment or the entire event series.

  • Cancel a single event:

    1. Select the event: Click on the event you want to cancel.

    2. Cancel: Click on the blue "Options" button in the top right of the details view and select "Cancel".

    3. Confirm: In the new window, confirm by clicking "Cancel Event".

  • Cancel an entire event series:

    1. Select the event: Click on one of the events from the series you want to cancel.

    2. Edit event series: Click on the blue "Edit" button in the top right of the details view.

    3. End event series: In the newly opened window, click "End Event Series".

    4. Confirm: Confirm the cancellation of the event series. All future events in the series will be canceled and removed from the calendar.

Cancellation notifications to Urban Sports Club members

Urban Sports Club members automatically receive a notification if their booking is canceled. No further notifications are needed from you.
