In this article, you will learn how to create, edit, and delete a Free Training in Partner Portal.

When should I create a Free Training?

You need a "Free Training" when you provide a training area (e.g., gym, swimming pool, etc.) or training equipment for your members, rather than just scheduled classes.

For these cases, we have developed a new type of event called "Free Training" for the Partner Portal. For Free Training:

  • Urban Sports Club members can train without a trainer or instructions.

  • You can provide relevant information about your Free Training area in the Free Training setup.

  • For Free Training events, the trainer setting and maximum participant number are not applicable.

  • Free Training is considered an all-day activity without fixed times, but you can set the days and time periods when Urban Sports Club members are allowed to train with you.

How do I create a Free Training?

Select "+ New Event" in the upper right corner and then choose "Free Training" in the next step.

How do I set up the Free Training?

Under Free Training, there are sections in the Partner Portal: General, Details, and Schedule, which need to be filled with information:

  • General:

Define the name/title of your Free Training. The location is automatically set. We suggest using the sport category that members will use in your Free Training, e.g., Fitness, Swimming.

  • Details:

Choose a sport category visible to Urban Sports Club members in the app, e.g., Fitness, Swimming.

⚠️ Note: Only select sport categories that are part of our cooperation agreement. You can find these in our contract under "Partner Offer."

In the description, you can also provide additional information about the usage of your Free Training. Currently, the first image from your location is automatically used for Free Training. You can adjust your images in the location settings.

  • Schedule:

Free Training is considered an all-day activity without fixed times, but you can set the days and periods when Urban Sports Club members can train with you.

    Add Time Slots:

Use "Add Slot" to set the period for Free Training and specify which days and times Free Training is available.

    Schedule Details:

Select the start date for Free Training on the left side. Note that the training is offered all day.

On the right side, specify the days Free Training should occur. By default, all days are selected. To remove a day, simply click on it. Free Training is automatically set to occur weekly. If Free Training should only occur for one week, select "None." Members can then use the training equipment or facilities only during the selected week.

By default, there is no end date set for your training. You can activate the "Has an End" function on the right side and then select an end date in the calendar view.

Make sure to save your Free Training in the final step.

How do I edit or delete Free Training?

You can edit or delete Free Training through both the calendar view and the event overview.

  • In the event overview, you can search for your Free Training using the search bar, select the Free Training, and then use the "End Event Group" option to cancel/delete or continue editing.

  • In the calendar view, simply click on the Free Training in your calendar and then use the options in the upper right corner to "Cancel Event" or "Edit." When editing your Free Training, remember to save your changes again.
