Every event is different. Maximum number of participants and cancellation possibilities and deadlines vary depending on location and trainer. These "booking details" can be entered directly when the event is created.
The booking details can be used to determine how many participants can participate in an event, when a booking can be made, and what the cancellation conditions are like. The waiting list can also be activated and deactivated here.
Set booking details
The booking details can be displayed and edited when a new event is created or when it is edited afterwards. Simply click on the "Show" button.
Further adjustable options open up. These are of course editable at any time.
Places: First, you can enter how many places there are in the respective event.
Should the automatic waiting list be activated?: If the course is already fully booked because exactly as many people have booked in as there are places, booking is no longer possible. However, customers can book themselves on the waiting list in order to move up if a customer who has already booked cancels at short notice. If the waiting list is to be activated, "Yes" must be selected here.
Determine a booking period?: If the customers should have the possibility to book an event at any time, "No" must be selected here.
If the booking is limited in time, you can specify how many hours before the event the booking begins (Bookings possible) and until when the booking is possible (Bookings not possible anymore).
In the example above, it shouldn’t be possible for customers to book 2 hours before the event. However, the option for booking has been available since the event was created.
Activate online cancellation?: If you want customers to have the possibility to cancel online themselves, "Yes" must be selected here. You can then specify until when the cancellation is possible and until when a refund is possible.
In the example, customers can cancel up to 2 hours before the event. If they have a credit pass, they will only get their credit back if they cancel at least 24 hours before the event.
