If you have an international audience, it is a good idea to make your course plan available in several languages.
In the following we will show you how easy it is to make your course plan “fit” for different languages.
Activate other languages
At the moment further languages can only be activated by our support. Simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the desired language. You can choose between German, English and French.
From 01.02.2018 you can add the other languages yourself. Proceed as follows.
Click on Settings > General > Languages in the main menu on the left and select the respective languages.
Activate the language selection in the widget
First of all, we have to make the language selection visible for your participants in the course plan.
Go to Settings < Shop & Widget < Advanced in the main menu on the left and select "Enable language switch".
Store different course descriptions for the courses
To ensure that the course descriptions are also displayed in the correct languages in the online course plan, you can store the course description for each language.
Go to the editing mode of the course and to the item "Description". Here you can see different countries’ flags. Your default language is automatically selected, for example German. Now enter the German course description. Then select the next language and enter the corresponding course description. Save your process.
Language selection from the participant's point of view
The participant can set the language at the bottom of the screen in the widget. The preference is saved for future visits.
