Make sure you do all the steps from the same Google Account and you always use the same E-Mail address.
To make sure go to your Google Play Developer Console and click on Developer Account > Account details, check the email address. This one needs to be the same one that you did the login with. If not, please change it to the mail address you are doing the login with.

The best way to create the JSON file is to use the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.

Send Google Invitation

  1. Log in to the dashboard in the Google Play Developer Console
  2. In the console you click on Settings > Users & permissions > Invite new user. Inser the following E-Mail address: [email protected]
  3. Under the point role you choose administrator
  4. Afterwards you click the button send invitation

Creation of the service account and JSON file

Log in into the Google Play Console and click on settings > API access and then on the button create service account.

In the now shown window click on the link to go to the Google API Console. Do NOT click on DONE.

In the Google API Console click on + Create Service Account.

Now the following three steps need to be done:

a. Specify the name for the service account
You can enter Fitogram app here. The name will only be visible in your console. The description is optional. Now click on the button Create.

b. Manage roles
You choose the role Service Account User, which you can find under Service Accounts. Then confirm with Continue

c. Provide JSON key
Now you need the JSON key. Click on Provide JSON key and then on the Create Key button (make sure that JSON is selected under Key type). Then the JSON file is generated and saved on your computer. Click the Close button and then Done.

Go back to the previous website and click the Done button in the Create Service Account pop-up window.

You are now in API access, where you allow access to the newly created service account (by clicking Grant Access).

Make sure you the role is Release Manager. Click on add user.

After you have followed all these steps you now need to send us your JSON file that you have generated within the process. You should find the JSON file within the Downloads folder on your device. The file has the ending .json.
Send us this file as an attachment via mail to [email protected] with the subject "JSON file" and the information of your Google Play Login E-Mail address.
